Dr. Nelsen was born and raised in central Nebraska and graduated from Cozad High School in 1999. He graduated from Hastings College, Hastings Nebraska with a BA degree in biology in 2003. Dr. Nelsen graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical College of Dentistry in 2007 and joined the Holdrege Family Dental team. Currently, Dr. Nelsen serves in the Army National Guard. He loves spending time with his children: Makenzie, Micah, and Gracyn. Dr. Nelsen is a member of the American Dental Association, the Nebraska Dental Association, the Southwest District Dental Association of Nebraska, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
