Dr. Johnson is a fourth-generation Colorado native. He graduated from the University of Colorado Dental School in 1996 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He then completed a General Practice Residency at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia. During this time, Dr. Johnson received extensive training in hospital-based dentistry, such as dental emergencies, oral surgery, and caring for patients before and after surgery in the hospital. He served as a naval officer aboard the USS Frank Cable stationed in Guam. Dr. Johnson returned home in 2000 to practice dentistry with his father in Longmont, Colorado until 2006. He set down roots in Glenwood Springs, Colorado in May of 2006, where he now lives with his wife and three children.
