Dr. Gasca received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA. At Whitman College, he completed his thesis research pertaining to protein markers in neuron synapses. This research was intended to expand the knowledge of interactions between neural cell communication, which mimics numerous drug pathways in neurological diseases. He further went on to attend New York University’s College of Dentistry where he graduated with honors. Upon graduation he was inducted as a member of the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Gasca pursued his specialty training and earned his certificate in periodontics at the University of Washington in Seattle. Here Dr. Gasca also completed his master’s thesis. In his free time, Dr. Gasca loves being outdoors as much as possible with his wonderful wife, Sarah. Whether this includes fly-fishing, golfing, biking, hiking, or training for his next race, Dr. Gasca loves being outside and in the sunshine.
