Mr Jason Shockley

Jason Shockley, MS, DDS, brings more than a decade of experience in preventive, general, and cosmetic dentistry to Yampa Valley Family Dentistry, serving individuals and families in Craig, Colorado, and throughout Moffat County. Dr. Shockley grew up knowing he wanted to be a dentist. Some of his earliest memories involve watching his father, also a dentist, wax gold dental crowns at a small workbench in their living room. These initial lessons shaped Dr. Shockley’s passion for oral health. They also encouraged him to provide the best possible dental care to his patients at an affordable rate. Dr. Shockley began his professional education at Western Colorado University in Gunnison, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Business. He subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Denver and a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from Regis University — also in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Shockley ultimately earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Aurora. At Yampa Valley Family Dentistry, Dr. Shockley sets aside plenty of time to spend with each new patient. After conducting a thorough oral exam, listening to their concerns, and discussing their goals, he develops comprehensive treatment plans that improve both their oral health and confidence. Dr. Shockley proudly holds memberships in the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Society.
