Dr. Betsy Bakeman graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1983. She is the first Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) in Michigan and one of only 91 worldwide. She has served as Past President of the AACD, chaired the Accreditation Board, and is a faculty member at the Kois Center, teaching periodontal restorative interface and wax-up courses. An accomplished author, educator, and international lecturer, she received the 2013 AACD Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry Education Award. She approaches cosmetic dentistry with the rigor of a specialty, focusing on health, beauty, and function for long-lasting results.
