Dr David Fischer

Dr. Fischer had the privilege of serving his community and patients at Cannon Family Dentistry for 25 years. With a thoughtful, patient-centered approach, his goal for every patient was to work together to identify solutions for achieving and maintaining a healthy mouth and smile. In February of 2026, Dr. Fischer officially retired, closing a remarkable chapter of dedicated care and commitment to his patients. Born in Detroit and raised in Warren, Dr. Fischer received his undergraduate degree in Physiology from Michigan State University. He then headed south to University of Michigan, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Throughout his career, he logged countless hours of continuing education with a concentration in full mouth rehabilitation, advanced restorative techniques, and orthodontics. In his later years of practice, he was especially enthusiastic about the technology updates incorporated into the office and was eager to utilize advanced CBCT imaging, 3-D printing, and zirconia milling systems for the benefit of his patients.
