Dr. Johnston graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science. He graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2005. He received multiple academic and clinical awards and was inducted into the Stomatognathic Honor Society and the Oral Surgery Honor Society. He began private practice in 2007. In 2012 he trained to surgically place implants at the Misch International Implant Institute.
