Dr Michael Janda,

Dr. Janda was born and raised in Sterling, CO. As the son of a dentist, Dr. J grew up around dentistry his entire life. While initially pursuing an education toward medicine at Creighton University, he would work his summers as an assistant at his father’s office. It was during those summers that Dr. J was called back to dentistry after experiencing the unique opportunity dentistry provides to care for an entire family across multiple generations. Following Creighton University, Dr. J moved back to CO to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Colorado and then to Bangor, Maine, to further advance his skillset at a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Eastern Maine Medical Center. His GPR training was designed to put dentists under the direct guidance of specialists, so that they could learn to treat complex cases and improve the outcomes of the communities they serve. The completion of this program was crucial to training Dr. J to diagnose and treat advanced procedures from the perspective of those at the top of their profession. During the next seven years of his career, Dr. J first worked as an associate to his father’s before he retired, and then transitioned to a private practice in Denver while he supported his wife, Ashley, through Physician Assistant school. Dr. J has continued to invest heavily in continuing education throughout his career, staying focused on meeting the needs of his patients in the fields of Dental Implants, Invisalign, Sleep Apnea Treatment, and even Botox! Dr. Janda and his wife decided to move to Northern CO last March before welcoming their daughter Mila into the world at the end of May! In their free time, the Janda family enjoys getting outside with their two dogs (Husky “Oslo” and Aussiedoodle “Auggie”), camping throughout the Colorado wilderness, having a lake day, gardening, or cheering on their favorite sports teams!
