Dr Joshua Weenig

Dr. Joshua Weenig is excited to join the Oconto Dental team. He is looking forward to providing patients with the highest level of personalized and comfortable dental care available. Dr. Weenig is originally from Colorado Springs, CO. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University - Idaho. He then went on to graduate from the University of Florida School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Weenig later completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency after his DMD for UF in the Navy. Some of Dr. Weenig’s special awards and certifications include completion of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina, the Navy Marine Achievement Medal, and Fleet Marine Force Warfare Officer Device. He is affiliated with the United States Navy Dental Corps, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Weenig can be found spending time with his wife, Aimee, four boys and one girl; Cason, Brayden, Dylan, Sunny, and Evan. He also enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, fishing, mountain biking, playing piano, coaching for youth sports and volunteering for the Boy Scouts of America and Retired Veteran Service Day where he provides free dental care for retired veterans.
