Dr. Taylor grew up in the Marquette area but attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, that specialises in clinical dentistry, and graduated in 2014 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Before attending dental school, Dr. Taylor received his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. After college, Dr. Taylor moved back to Marquette to be closer to family and to enjoy the Upper Peninsula lifestyle. He is married to Jodi, a fellow Yooper from Houghton, has two boys, Mitchell and Mason, and a chocolate lab named Lacy.
