Dr. Ziad Batrouni, DDS joined Maryland Oral Surgery Associates in 2006. Dr. Batrouni received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech; he then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Northwestern University Dental School, graduating in the top 10% of his class, and obtaining multiple academic and research awards. Dr. Batrouni completed his internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell University Medical Center. Dr. Batrouni is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Southern Maryland Dental Society, and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Batrouni is Vice Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Anne Arundel Medical Center, as well as a clinical instructor at the Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Batrouni cares deeply about his patients’ comfort and about maintaining outstanding communications with his patients’ dental care providers. Dr. Batrouni resides in Annapolis, MD with his wife and two children.
