A 1992 Magna Cum Laude graduate of NC State University, Dr. Mike Mango completed a bachelor’s degree and internships in orthodontics before earning his dental degree in 1996 from the UNC School of Dentistry. With over three decades of professional experience, Dr. Mike Mango has significant dental subject matter and clinical expertise. His commitment to patient education ensures each patient he treats understands the specific issues they face as well as the available treatment options that can help them achieve better oral health and improved aesthetics. Dedicated to staying on top of the most recent developments in dentistry, he maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, the Gate City Dental Study Club, and the Spear’s Study Club. Dr. Mike Mango regularly attends advanced continuing education classes, such as the prestigious Spear’s dental seminars in Scottsdale, AZ and Glidewell Dental Labs in Newport Beach, CA, to learn the latest techniques in advanced smile generation (creating smiles with lasting beauty). When not treating patients, Dr. Mike enjoys tennis, pickleball, running, skiing, volunteering, growing fresh vegetables in his garden, and studying the Bible. Giving back to the community is also very important to Dr. Mike; he was on the board of Greensboro Urban Ministry, routinely participates in NC Dental Society’s Missions of Mercy (NCMOM) to provide free dental services to the impoverished in the Greensboro area, and volunteers with the Out of the Garden project to provide fresh food to Guilford County students. In addition, Dr. Mike sponsors and participates in many other local charities and charitable events to help enrich the lives of others in our community. Dr. Mike Mango is married to Emily Mango and they collectively have three children: Ike, Ava and Christian. The Mango family attends Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Greensboro.
