Dr. McAbee enjoys spending time with his family and friends especially at the lake, playing any sport, music, travel, and cheering on his beloved Gamecocks. His wife, Erin, is also a dentist at a pediatric office in Spartanburg, SC. They've enjoyed being parents and are immensely proud of their beautiful daughters. Dr. McAbee feels truly blessed and excited to meet new people, live, and practice the art of dentistry in the downtown Greenville community. Following graduation from J.L. Mann High School, he attended the University of South Carolina where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with Cum Laude honors. He moved to Charleston and completed his dental education at the Medical University of South Carolina. While his goal of returning to Greenville was in near sight, he decided to further his training with a general practice residency at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC. There he focused on implant dentistry, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, and treating medically compromised patients. He is excited to offer these services at West End Dental in addition to the comprehensive treatment already provided. Dr. McAbee is an active member of the Greenville County Dental Society, South Carolina Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. McAbee loves learning the latest techniques and technology in dentistry so he can continually implement them for the benefit of our patients. He serves as a volunteer at the Greenville Free Medical Clinic. He is passionate about creating a relaxing environment that provides each patient with a personalized experience where they receive exceptional care.
