Dr Alexandra J. Fitzgerald

Dr. Fitzgerald grew up in a military family, moving every few years and is happy to have planted roots in the area. She earned her B.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park. She completed her D.D.S. at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she participated in numerous community service events and leadership roles. Dr. Fitzgerald is heavily involved in the Maryland State Dental Association, serving as the 2023-2024 President. She received the 2023 American Dental Association Ten under Ten award. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Frederick County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. Dr. Fitzgerald understands skill and compassion go hand in hand when providing exceptional patient care. She has a genuine interest in helping others, eagerness to expand her education and brings a positive outlook to every visit. She is passionate about staying up to date on the latest techniques and technologies dentistry offers. In her free time, she loves trying out new restaurants with her husband; going for hikes and walks with their dog Sage; and cheering on the local professional teams.
