Dr. Gary Koterwas attended Morgan State University where he played Division I basketball and received Academic All-American honors. After undergraduate, he attended the University of Maryland Dental School. There he was involved in both basic science and clinical research receiving numerous awards upon graduation. After dental school, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy. While serving, he completed courses such as Advanced Trauma Life Support. Dr. Koterwas enjoys all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is on staff at Chambersburg, Waynesboro and Washington County hospitals. He is an active member of the community, as well as a member of Cumberland Valley and Washington County dental societies.
