Dr David Leo Finkelstein

Dr. David Leo Finkelstein has always been drawn to helping others through healthcare and artistry. He began his career by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wagner College and working as a Registered Nurse at Staten Island University Hospital. His desire to combine his medical background with creative precision led him to New York University College of Dentistry, where he completed the Aesthetics Honors Program and served as Vice President of the Aesthetics Honor Society. During his studies, Dr. Finkelstein won first place at the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for his clinical case presentation and was published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry. After graduating, he completed a General Practice Residency at Coney Island Hospital, refining his skills in comprehensive, patient-centered care. Dr. Finkelstein brings a thoughtful, artistic approach to every aspect of dentistry. His background in nursing gives him a deep understanding of patient comfort and communication, allowing him to create a relaxed environment where patients feel heard and respected. He believes that great dentistry is not only about function but also about aesthetics, helping every patient feel confident about their smile.
