Dr. Andrew T. Stewart graduated from Temple University, School of Dentistry in 1993. Prior to that, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University. After dental school, he completed a residency of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Cleft Palate Clinic in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He earned his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2001 and his Mastership in 2006. In 2009, he became a Diplomate of the American Board of General Dentistry. Less than 0.5% of dentists receive this status. He has served as an examiner for the American Board of General Dentistry several times, and in 2016 began his first of two three-year terms on the Board of Directors. He has been a part of organized Dentistry since 1993 and in April of 2018 finished his year as president of the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry. In 2016, Dr. Stewart received the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition award (LLSR) from the Academy of General Dentistry. And in October of 2018, he received a Fellowship from the American College of Dentistry. He is involved in the community as a Deputy Coroner for Dauphin County, and also participates in local service clubs. He enjoys the outdoors, and loves spending time with his family.
