Dr Jihoon Kim

To Dr. Jihoon Kim, dentistry is not just drilling and filling, but the perfect blend of art and science. Although he loves many facets of dentistry, Dr. Kim most enjoys getting to know his patients. To him, the heart of patient care is taking a personalized approach because each patient and their smile is special. Whether a patient’s concern is cosmetic, restorative, or a dental emergency, Dr. Kim creates a genuine connection with his patients and provides them with the excellent, individualized care they need. Dr. Kim pursued his undergraduate career at Utah Valley University where he graduated with Summa cum laude in Biology. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis where he participated in various advanced coursed including periodontics and prosthodontics. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Kim completed his General Practice Residency at Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, where provided different aspects of dentistry including hospital dentistry, emergency, sedation and implantology to severely medically compromised patients. Dr. Kim is fully committed to his patients’ smiles, and that means keeping his mind and skills sharp! It is his firm belief that to be the best in the dental industry, you have to take a lifelong approach to learning and education. Each year, he takes many advanced courses to enhance his skills and stay at the top of the dentistry field. This enables him to serve his patients’ unique dental care needs quickly and expertly, providing them with a gentle and comfortable experience every time. No matter his patients’ concerns—emergency, restorative, or cosmetic— Dr. Kim ensures their trust is always in the best hands possible.
