Dr. Scott Dunaway earned both his bachelor’s and doctoral degrees from West Virginia University. After graduating from dental school in 1997, Dr. Dunaway remained at WVU Hospital for an additional year to broaden his knowledge and experience by completing a general practice residency. Following his residency, he worked as an associate in a large practice in Maryland before accepting a position as the founding dentist at a new branch of the E.A. Hawse Health Clinic in Mathias, West Virginia. Dr. Dunaway practiced in this area for two years before opening his private practice in the Harrisonburg-Rockingham community. He has completed numerous continuing education courses, including training at the Dawson Academy and a nine-month implant course at the Medical College of Georgia. When he is not working, Dr. Dunaway enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
