Dr Erin Rayburn

I'm Dr. Erin Rayburn, and I'd like to thank you for your interest in our clinic. I have always wanted to be dentist. I was drawn to the juxtaposition of science and artistry in dentistry. In order to be a great dentist, you have to balance both aspects to achieve great results- teeth that look great but also last! I worked my way through college at Millsaps as a makeup artist. I graduated with a degree in Chemistry, but I also gained knowledge in cosmetics and how to help people gain confidence by enhancing their natural beauty. My ability to balance science and artistry was already blooming. I attended the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, where I learned that there was a portion of dental patients to whom I was naturally drawn. Anxious patients who had neglected themselves and their teeth out of fear of the dentist were special to me. I learned if I could spend time with them and take my time with their work, I could help them become not only more confident in my chair, but also more confident with their smiles! I worked in corporate dentistry my first 5 years out of dental school and gained a lot of knowledge- knowledge of mastering clinical procedures, but also knowledge for how I would treat my own patients in private practice. In my opinion, you can't expect great dentistry from a dentist who is seeing multiple patients at one time. You won't find that here. My goal is not to buy a new Mercedes every year. My goal is having happy patients who send their closest friends and family to see us because they trust me and they are happy with their smiles. In 2020, I bought Serene View Dental Care. From the very beginning, it has been a labor of love. I hope when you visit that you see that we have worked hard to make it as far from the typical dental office as possible. This is my home away from home, and when you are here, you are my guest. Let's sit and chat! I am a Laurel native, but have lived in Hattiesburg since 2020. I am married to Dr. Jonathan Rayburn and we have two beautiful children, Jonas (6) and Everleigh (3). I spend my spare time running after the kids, cooking, and occasionally reading a good book.
