Dr. Bounds is a lifetime resident of Jones County. He graduated from South Jones High School, Jones County Junior College, The University of Mississippi, and The University Of Mississippi School Of Dentistry. He is a member of the Mississippi Dental Association, the CDCA Board, the American Dental Association, the Mississippi Dental Association, the Third District association and the Laurel Area Dental association. He has served as past president of the MDA’s Third District Dental Society and the Laurel Area Dental Association. He is member of the Laurel Rotary Club, and the JCJC Alumni. He has also served as member and past president of the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners. Dr. Bounds has extensive training in ortho devices and Implant dentistry. He is a member of the Ellisville First United Methodist Church and is active in numerous civic organizations. Dr. Bounds’ wife, Carla Bounds is a retired Gifted Teacher, from Jones County school system.
