Dr Maki Ishii

Dr. Maki Ishii is a compassionate caregiver appreciated for her warm personality and thorough care she provides. After attending St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH, she majored in Biophysics at Johns Hopkins University and received her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005 and continued there for her Certificate of Periodontology. Dr. Ishii is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology and is continually rated a Top Dentist by her professional peers and patients in Philadelphia Magazine, Main Line Today, and Suburban Life Magazine. Her experience ranges from very conservative maintenance to complex reconstructions with advanced techniques and biomaterials. If not at professional meetings or study clubs with her colleagues, she and her husband, David, are busy keeping up with their twins! Dr. Ishii is an active member of the following groups: American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology, Academy of Stomatology, Chester Delaware Dental Society, and Spears Study Club.
