Dr. Merah Al-Jundi, DDS, is a distinguished general dentist with over 14 years of professional experience. Her passion for dentistry is driven by her genuine desire to help others and alleviate their dental anxieties. Today, Dr. Merah proudly serves the community of Herndon, Virginia, at Herndon Smiles. Dr. Merah’s academic journey is marked by excellence. During high school, she participated in the prestigious Cambridge IGCSE program, earning the highest achiever award in her country. This accolade paved the way for a prestigious scholarship that allowed her to attend the dental school of her choice. As a native of Amman, Jordan, Dr. Merah stayed close to home to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Jordan School of Dental Medicine. She then pursued postgraduate training at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine in New York City, studying under renowned professors and pioneers in the dental field. Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Merah continuously enhances her skills through various continuing education courses. Her membership with the Academy of General Dentistry has been instrumental in her post-graduate training, where she consistently excels in clinical sessions. Dr. Merah has a particular affinity for aesthetic dentistry. At Herndon Smiles, she collaborates with a team of top dental professionals to offer a wide range of services, including dental crowns, veneers, smile makeovers, tooth-colored fillings, teeth whitening, and Invisalign.
