Dr. Michael Gilbert grew up in Highland Park and lives in Deerfield. He attended the University of Illinois in Champaign where he earned a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He later attended the University of Illinois-Chicago where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Gilbert continues to be an avid student and has taken advanced classes in smile design, esthetics and cavity detection. He is a strong believer in pain-free dentistry and works with each patient to reduce any fears or anxiety. In his free time, Dr. Gilbert loves spending time with his son Cole and his wife Lindsay. He is a die-hard Chicago sports fan, especially the Bears. He also enjoys watching movies, BBQing and golfing.
