Dr. Heath’s goal is to treat his patients like an extension of his own family. His fun personality and relaxed style provide a comfortable dental experience for both children and adults. Originally from a small town in West Texas, Dr. Heath graduated Magna Cum Laude from Abilene Christian University with a degree in biology. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery on a Health Professions Military Scholarship from the prestigious Baylor College of Dentistry. As a Captain in the United States Air Force, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Scott Air Force Base outside St. Louis. He practiced for three years as a general dentist at Misawa AB, Japan, including a one-year pediatric dentistry rotation. Lieutenant Colonel Copeland currently serves as a USAF Reservist for the 302ASTS out of Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs. Dr. Heath has completed thousands hours of continuing education, with hundreds of those in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Heath loves skiing, hiking, traveling, and of course, spending time with his wife, Dr. Amy, daughter Channing, and dog Tucker.
