Raised in Maine, Dr. Tessa S. Hanson received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan and D.M.D. from the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine. She was drawn to New Jersey for her General Practice Residency (GPR) at Morristown Medical Center. One of Dr. Hanson’s greatest passions in dentistry is serving adults with special needs. She maintains an active medical staff membership at Morristown Medical Center (MMC) with operating room privileges for treating special needs adults under general anesthesia. She also enjoys teaching the dental residents in the General Practice Residency (GPR) Program at MMC. An enthusiastic fan, Dr. Hanson supports all University of Michigan Athletics, and in her free time you might find her reading, tackling some sort of home improvement project or spending time with her husband, Jimmy, daughter, Willa, and son, James.
