Dr. Takagi was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and attended 'Iolani School class of 2004. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at The Colorado College and a Master of Science in Developmental Biology at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. During his MS program, he conducted genetic research on the development of Cleft Lip and Palate Syndrome. Dr. Takagi obtained his DDS from Creighton University School of Dentistry where he received honors from the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Operative Dentistry for “exhibiting remarkable potential on becoming an outstanding general dentist” and “exemplifying outstanding achievement in operative dentistry”, respectively. Dr. Takagi loves spending time with his Wife, Molly, Daughter, Sallena, and son, Caspian. His hobbies include surfing, golfing, cooking, hiking, good food, fine arts, traveling and camping.
