Mr Jacqueline S. Brown

Dr. Brown has been in practice at the Pan Am Bldg since the late 90's and took over from the retiring Dr Maurer who had been the original dentist here. She came to Hawaii in 1994 via Ohio, New Zealand and England and has never left! Trained at the University of Otago School of Dentistry in the South Island town of Dunedin, New Zealand, Dr Brown did two years hospital dentistry upon graduation in prestigious house surgeon positions. Here she gained experience in dental treatment of the medically compromised, emergency treatment, oral surgery, cleft palate treatment, sports injuries, IV sedation and treatment of infants and geriatrics amongst other things. She then moved to England where she worked in private practice for four years before passing the US National, foreign trained dentists and Hawaii State Board exams. Dr Brown is a member of the American Dental Association, Hawaii Dental Association, and enjoys several study clubs. She enjoys learning about new technology and has been offering same day crown/bridge/veneer treatment since 2013 and has recently incorporated iTero scanner technology into the practice for effortless full mouth digital imaging.
