Dr Jill Uehara

Dr. Jill Uehara feels she is blessed to work with her siblings Dr. Germaine Uehara (retired 2019) and Dr. Garret Uehara. Many of the staff members have been working with the office for over 15 years. The synergy between the staff and the dentists makes delivering the optimal care to patients possible. Dr. Jill attended the University of Hawaii for two years and then completed her undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at Oregon State University in 1989 with high honors. She then graduated from Oregon Health Science University with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree with honors. She received four awards at graduation: Best of the Best Award by Teledyne Hanau in Prosthodontics, American College of Prosthodontics Undergraduate Achievement Award, Christopher John Kelly Memorial Award, and the American College of Dentistry Award for outstanding performance and professionalism. She also completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the Portland Oregon Veterans Hospital in 1994. Dr. Jill’s engineering and dental backgrounds and understanding of both fields keep the practice at the forefront of leading technology including digital x-rays and the Cerec system that allows digital imaging and fabrication of crowns in one appointment.
