Prior to completing his specialty training at University of Washington, Dr. Liao had been practicing general dentistry for 12 years in Taiwan. He obtained his diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology in 2016. Dr. Liao was also appointed clinical assistant professor at University of Washington before moving to Hawaii.
