Dr. Alexander W. Allred, DMD joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts Team in June, 2014. He graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He then earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University School of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Allred is trained to use state-of-the-art technologies, materials, and clinically-proven techniques. He is also fluent in the Spanish language. Dr. Allred lives with his family in Huntersville, NC. He and his wife, Bridget, have been married for 10 years and have two kids, an 8-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son. The newest member of the Allred family is Maggie the cat. In addition to spending time with family and cooking interesting foods, Dr. Allred enjoys playing disc golf, cycling, tennis, football and hiking. He also loves music. As a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society, Dr. Allred believes strongly in practicing according to current research and evidence-based dentistry. He emphasizes listening to his patients’ needs and having a gentle chairside manner.
