Dr. Armentha Chicas is the owner & lead dentist at Prosper Dental Studio, serving patients throughout Cornelius & Huntersville, NC. Born in Haiti & raised in the U.S., she brings a unique blend of technical skill, artistic vision, & heartfelt compassion to every aspect of dentistry. A graduate of UNC Charlotte & Howard University College of Dentistry, Dr. Chicas has continued to expand her expertise through advanced training, including implant education with Hiossen. Her approach centers on creating personalized, aesthetically refined treatment plans that honor both oral health & confidence. As a member of the ADA & the North Carolina Dental Society, she is committed to elevating patient care & helping each person achieve a smile that feels both healthy & authentically their own. In the world of dentistry, Dr. Armentha Chicas has a unique blend of skill, passion, and personal history that makes her stand out in her field. Born in Haiti and embracing her island roots, Dr. Chicas moved to the United States with her family at the age of 9. Her family settled in North Carolina in 2006, where she pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2007–2012: Bachelor of Science in Biology). Following that, her journey took her to Washington, D.C., to Howard University College of Dentistry (2014–2018: Doctor of Dental Surgery degree). Today, she’s returned to the Charlotte area, where her practice, Prosper Dental Studio, is located. Dentistry, for Dr. Chicas, is more than a profession—it’s an art form that balances functionality with aesthetics. As a Certified Invisalign Provider, she brings that same thoughtful attention to smile alignment, helping patients work toward results that look natural and feel confident.
