Dr Shelbey Groves

Originally from Summersville, West Virginia, Dr. Shelbey Groves earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Animal and Nutritional Sciences and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University. During dental school, she was awarded multiple scholarships in recognition of her academic merit, clinical skills, and devotion to community service. She was also recognised by The American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology for her accomplishments. Currently, she is a proud member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Groves is known for her compassionate chairside manner and commitment to building trust with each patient. She takes the time to listen, answer questions thoroughly, and ensure her patients feel comfortable and confident in their care. With a strong clinical foundation and her focus on patient relationships, Dr. Groves is dedicated to providing an excellent experience for each patient. Drawn to Charlotte for its diverse culture, amazing food, and close proximity to the mountains, Dr. Groves is happy to call the Queen City home. Outside of the office, she loves rock climbing and skiing – anything that gets her outdoors and moving. When she’s not exploring new trails or hitting the slopes, you can find her planning her next travel destination or unwinding with a good book.
