Mr Justin W. Ruffner

Originally partnered with Dr. Kevin Toomey in 2015, Dr. Justin Ruffner has now been the sole owner of Outer Cape Dental Group since 2021. He is committed to providing quality dental care in a comfortable and relaxed setting to the Outer Cape communities. Dr. Ruffner was born and raised in Boonsboro, Maryland. An accomplished student athlete as a member of the football team, he was awarded his bachelors degree in biology with honors from James Madison University in Virginia. Dr. Ruffner then attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors in 2004. While there he was elected to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and the Gorgas Odontological Society. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Ruffner returned to his hometown and practiced with his mentor and childhood dentist for two years. Dr. Ruffner and his wife, Delia, then relocated to Massachusetts and have been here ever since. Delia is a native of Orleans, MA and graduated from Nauset Regional High School. They currently live in Orleans with their two sons, Cooper and Sawyer, and daughter, Nora. Dr. Ruffner has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education since graduation including specialized training at Tufts University which allows him to place dental implants. Dr. Ruffner did 1 year of formal post-doctoral training in root canal therapy from Boston University's Goldman School of Dentistry. Dr. Ruffner maintains active membership in the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society and the Cape Cod District Dental Society.
