Dr. Persaud is a dedicated and compassionate pediatric dentist with a strong foundation in comprehensive dental care. A graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry in June of 2022, Dr. Persaud began his post-doctorate professional journey with a General Practice Dentistry (GPR) residency at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, New York gaining advanced clinical experience in a hospital setting. During this residency, completed in July 2023, he performed a wide range of dental procedures and developed expertise in treating medically complex and immunocompromised patients. Motivated by a deep passion for children’s oral health, Dr. Persaud went on to complete a two-year specialty residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Staten Island University Hospital. This rigorous training program focused on comprehensive care for infants, children, adolescents, and individuals with special healthcare needs—emphasizing both preventive strategies and restorative treatments. Dr. Persaud is a proud member of both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. During his free time, he enjoys trying new restaurants throughout the DMV so please share any recommendations! With a combination of clinical excellence, hospital-based experience, and a warm, patient-centered approach, Dr. Persaud is proud to offer high-quality, compassionate care to the pediatric dental population. Dr. Persaud will be working Tuesdays, from 1pm to 7pm and Wednesdays, from 7am to 1pm.
