Brendan Young, PhD, MBA, is the Director of Behavioral Science and an associate professor in the Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He is the course director of the courses in interprofessional communication and patient-provider communication. He also administers the college's standardized patient program. His research interests include dental curriculum development, clinician empathy, telehealth, and team-based care. He is a co-author of Communication Skill.
