Dr. Kerby was born and raised in Bloomfield, Iowa. He attended the University of Iowa and graduated from the College of Dentistry in the class of 2004. Outside of general dentistry, Dr. Kerby also has a key interest in root canals, implants, orthodontics and oral surgery. He and his wife, Lisa, currently reside in Washington, Iowa. Together they have seven children ranging from ages 1 to 15, they are all AVID Iowa Hawkeye football fans. They enjoy Harley rides and bowling, watching their children in activities, and getting together with extended family and friends. Dr. Kerby coaches basketball and baseball in Keota where his wife teaches preschool. This is her 13th year teaching.
