Dr. Michael Shaw has been proudly serving the Irvine community and creating beautiful, healthy smiles since 1989. His dedication to providing the highest standard of orthodontic care is rooted in his exceptional education and extensive experience. Dr. Shaw completed a rigorous educational path to become a specialist in orthodontics. He first earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the prestigious Loma Linda University in 1988. Following dental school, he pursued his passion for orthodontics, completing a specialized residency program at Case Western Reserve University in 1987, where he was awarded his Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and specialty certificate in orthodontics. He is also a proud life member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), staying current with the latest advancements in the field to ensure his patients receive the best care possible.
