Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Robert McLeod received a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. McLeod elected to pursue advanced training at the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle where he completed a specialty program in periodontics and dental implant surgery, and received a Master of Science in Dentistry degree. Dr. McLeod then became an officer in the United States Air Force. He spent four years as the Chief of Periodontics at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City and served as a volunteer clinical instructor at the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry. Dr. McLeod is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association®, California Dental Association and Orange County Dental Society. He is also board-certified in periodontics, having achieved diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology.
