“DOC” is a name earned by Navy Healthcare personnel who serve with the Marine Corps. At 18 Kerry Ragbir enlisted in the US Navy in 1997 from Queens NYC. After completing A-school in San Diego and Field Medical Service school at Camp Pendleton, he was stationed in Kbay, Hawaii with 3rd Marines and earned the name Doc Kerry Ragbir. After honorable discharge, he graduated Cum Laude from Hawaii Pacific University in 2002 with a BSC in Premedical Studies. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the State University of New York in Buffalo in 2006. Dr. Kerry “Doc” Ragbir D.D.S. immediately moved to Texas after graduating and has been serving Texans since. He and Uyen are happily married and raise 2 wonderful children Emma and Luke – who both aspire to also serve when they finish school. Doc’s purpose is to listen for and answer the call for help. Serving creates an attitude of gratitude. It gives us courage and strength to focus on solutions. Doc believes that helping others is the best treatment for one’s own pain.
