Dr. Haentges received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Health Studies from the University at Buffalo. He graduated in 2016 from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine with a minor in Pediatric dentistry and electives in sports dentistry, forensic dentistry and esthetic dentistry, and with certification in the use of diode lasers. Dr. Haentges completed a year-long Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Stratton-Albany Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Albany, NY. In addition, he has had training in placement of both conventional and mini implants. He has been practicing in the Southern-Tier for about 8 years now. Dr. Haentges will be offering dental treatment to patients at the Watkins Glen office in all areas of general dentistry, including CEREC same-day crowns, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, endodontics, oral surgery, and SureSmile orthodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the 7th District Dental Society, and the New York State Dental Association. Dr. Haentges lives with his wife, Sherilyn, and their three children, Elorah, Autley, Taysum and Sheaodyn. They also have a dog, a Shi-Tzu baby boy (He's 10), Rigby.
