Dr. Amy Farrell grew up in the Ambler area and attended Upper Dublin High School. At Gettysburg College, she earned a BS degree studying Environmental Science and Biology and was a two-time All-American selection in women’s lacrosse. Upon graduation, Dr. Farrell spent time working in water quality analysis research at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. She then chose to attend the nation’s first dental school, the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore MD where she earned multiple honors including the award for highest academic and clinical achievement in restorative dentistry. She completed Abington Memorial Hospital General Practice Residency Program where she met Dr. Jim Stevenson who was an attending dentist on staff. Dr. Farrell has practiced general and cosmetic dentistry for over ten years in both Center City and the nearby Philadelphia suburbs.
