Dr. Hartman is the founder of Total Health Dentistry. In 2016 he partnered with daughter Shilo VanHart. He is the Clinical Advisor ensuring doctors and team are trained to the philosophy of clinical treatment procedures & care as well as seeing patients. He earned his DMD from University of Pittsburgh Dental School in 1980 after BS in Biochemistry. Served U.S. Public Health Service, converted to private practice in 1982, opened current Huntingdon location in 1992. Postgraduate at L.D. Pankey Institute, orthodontics with American Orthodontic Society. Member of American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Holistic Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, International Association of Mercury Free Dentists, International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology, Academy of Laser Dentistry, International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine, Invisalign Premier Provider.
