Dr. Shiva Salehi comes from a long line of engineers and artists and has always been fascinated with medicine and natural sciences. Her calling became apparent to her when an accident fractured her front teeth, and she saw firsthand how transformative a dentist could be in someone’s life. Her fascination grew as she got older and realized that dentistry is the perfect union of art and science, her two passions. Her goal in dentistry has always been to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients to receive treatment and have their dental needs met. She understands the common cause of fear in patients and focuses her practice on striving every day to learn new ways to minimize dental anxiety and improve her patient’s experience. Dr. Salehi earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Georgia State University in Atlanta. She then went on to Post Graduate school to further her education and received a Master’s in Biology, with a focus on Neuroendocrinology and extensive research in the field.
