Dr. Jacobsen was born and raised just east of the mountains in Fairfield, Montana. After high school, Dr. Jacobsen went to Montana State University in Bozeman to complete her bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. After working as a dental assistant for a few years, Dr. Jacobsen then started dental school at the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle. After graduating dental school in June 2016, she then went on to complete a one year General Practice Residency at the University of Washington. After residency, Dr. Jacobsen went on to private practice in the Seattle area. Dr. Jacobsen is excited to be back in the Montana, particularly the valley. She joined the team at Smile Montana on July 1, 2019. She is a member of the American Dental Association, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. When she isn’t practicing dentistry, Dr. Jacobsen and her husband enjoy spending time with family, friends, and their cat Oliver, traveling, skiing, cooking, and enjoying their time back in the best state.
