Dr. Andrew Sheehy grew up in Blue Springs, Missouri. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Graceland University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Sheehy completed a General Practice Residency at University Health Lakewood, where the program emphasized oral surgery, implant placement, full-mouth rehabilitation, and moderate IV sedation dentistry. He continues to work at University Health Lakewood on a PRN basis, providing care in the operating room for patients with special needs. Dr. Sheehy is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Missouri Dental Association. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sheehy enjoys spending time with his family, watching Ohio State football, snow skiing, wakeboarding, and playing volleyball.
