Dr. Robert Rechtien, Jr. was born and raised right here in Kansas City. He attended Sumner Academy for high school and UMKC where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology. He graduated from the UMKC School of Dentistry in 1991, where he was the Vice President of his class, with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Rechtien has been practicing in the Northland ever since where he and his family reside. Dr. Rechtien’s wife, Kathleen, is a nurse and they keep busy raising three children Mary Catharine, John Robert and Ava Grace. Dr. Rechtien enjoys barbecuing, woodworking and serves on the board of their church.
