It was not Dr. Anderson’s original plan to become a dentist. While pursuing his interest in science and music at The University of Missouri, a friend encouraged him to apply to dental school. After attending his first several classes, his love and passion for dentistry quickly became evident. He graduated from The School of Dentistry at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1986. After working with his mentor, Dr. Anderson started his own dental practice in the late 1980’s, opening offices in downtown Kansas City, Country Club Plaza, and Independence. “Growing up, going to the dentist was not a pleasant experience and I have set out to change the way people feel about visiting the dentist." Outside of his profession, Dr. Anderson coached youth baseball for over 15 years and is involved with Waterfall Canyon Academy and Oak Grove School.
