Dr Alex McBride

A proud native of Flower Mound, TX—just up the road from Valor Dental—Dr. Alex McBride has strong roots in the community and is passionate about serving the area she calls home. She spent most of her childhood learning to ride horses, draw, and paint. These interests helped shape her appreciation for kindness, precision, and artistry—qualities she now brings to her work in dentistry. From a young age, Dr. McBride knew dentistry was the perfect way to combine her love of art and science. She earned a B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) before starting dental school. It was her dream to stay close to home, so she gladly accepted an offer to attend Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas. After graduation, Dr. McBride began serving the DFW community by providing gentle, high-quality care to her patients. A lifelong learner, she has spent the years since graduation gaining mentorship and participating in continuing education. Her main goal as a dentist is to leave her patients happier and healthier than when they arrived. When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. McBride enjoys walking and gardening with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. She’s already lost count of how many plants she has in her backyard.
