Dr. Basta was born and raised in Southeast Texas and later moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, concentrating in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology. As an added bonus, it was there she met her husband, Chase, a Montana transplant who tolerates the hot Texas weather surprisingly well. Following her time in Austin, she headed to Dallas to attend Texas A&M College of Dentistry, remaining active in community and volunteer opportunities in the DFW area and graduating with honors in 2019. Her passion for dentistry stems from her desire not only to improve the health of her patients, but to give them the confidence they deserve with a smile they can be proud of. She strives to provide comprehensive and comfortable care, tailoring every experience to the needs of her patients. Outside of work, Dr. Basta stays very busy at home with her husband, three young children, and rescue dog Marilo. Together, they enjoy all of the wonderful things Texas has to offer- lots of sunshine, great BBQ, and Dallas Cowboys football.
